As I am trying to find a employment, after spending my last six years out of corporate world, recruiters suggest me to think two ways to prove that my technical skills are up-to-date: first way is to do some projects and get references current; second way is to get some certificate.

For past week, I have prepared for Microsoft Solution Associate(MSSA): SQL 2016 Database Development . I choose the certificate way as my proof for these following reasons. First, it is easier to prepare exams than to find projects. It only takes my effort to prepare and pass the exam to earn certificate. On the other hand, it requires more like matching interest, matching trust for finding projects even when I am willing to offer my time and talent free of charge. Secondly, I think earning a certificate will make me look better on LinkedIn. I will have a title immediately after my name, which I believe will help me to get an employment or a project.

I have booked exam 70-761 on Dec, 14. I am planning to finish Exam 70-762 before Christmas 2017. If my plan succeed, you will find a title of MCSA on my “about Me” page. I am very excited about that. So, for the next two weeks, I will post my ideas about how to prepare exams on my posts.
